Technikum Laubholz at the Festo Innovation Day 2025 “100 Years in Motion”
On July 2, 2025, the Technikum Laubholz was represented at the Festo Innovation Day in Esslingen – a special event held as part of Festo’s 100th anniversary celebrations.

The Innovation Day was all about “100 years in motion” and brought together experts from industry, research, and technology development. Exciting presentations, live demonstrations, and intensive discussions covered topics such as artificial intelligence in automation, sustainable production, robotics, and smart manufacturing – always with the aim of thinking outside the box and designing new solutions.
Our managing director, Dr. Tobias Wolfinger, was invited as a speaker and gave a presentation entitled “It WOOD be possible,” in which he explained how hardwood as a renewable raw material is opening up new perspectives for industry.
“I’m taking away many valuable discussions and food for thought,” summarizes Dr. Wolfinger. “Festo Innovation Day showed how important interdisciplinary cooperation is in actively shaping the transformation of industry.”
