Göppingen, February 22, 2024 – The KIckBio project, funded by the Ministry of Food, Rural Affairs, and Consumer Protection of Baden-Württemberg (MLR), is accompanied by a high-caliber advisory board that captures, discusses, and implements critical industry insights, while also extending the project's reach.

Innovative partnership for sustainable fiber composite materials: Technikum Laubholz cooperates with the project partners German Institute for Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf (DITF), ElringKlinger, Cordenka, CG Tec, Fiber Engineering, and the associated partners Porsche, FESTO and manaomea on the CELLUN research project.

Göppingen, August 9, 2023 – Mr. Peter Hauk MdL, Minister for Nutrition, Rural Affairs, and Consumer Protection in Baden-Württemberg, opened the first pilot plant for the production of textile fibers from beech wood.

To the delight of all involved parties Technikum Laubholz is growing. Developments in all research fields are progressing at high speed.

As the backbone of our Research Institute, the central laboratory is responsible for analytics, product development, and materials research.

In der zweiten Oktoberwoche fand die Kick-Off-Veranstaltung für das Projekt KIckBio statt, in dem sich der Projektförderer, die Projektbeiräte, die Projektpartner·innen als auch das gesamte TLH-Projektteam erstmals persönlich kennenlernten und sich zum aktuellen Stand der Dinge austauschen konnten.

Profisport und Nachhaltigkeit – diese Begriffe scheinen selbst im Jahr 2022 noch weit voneinander entfernt.

T-Shirts, Verpackungsmaterialien oder gar Autos aus Holz? Die Themengebiete, über die sich Manuel Hagel, MdL und Vorsitzender der CDU-Fraktion im Landtag von Baden-Württemberg sowie Blaubeurens Oberbürgermeister Jörg Seibold bei ihrem Besuch am Technikum Laubholz informiert haben, waren weit gefächert.

Die Deutschen Institute für Textil- und Faserforschung (DITF) in Denkendorf, Kooperationspartner des Technikum Laubholz, haben beim „Cellulose Fibre Innovation of the Year 2022 Award" den ersten Preis erhalten.

„Das Technikum Laubholz ist ein Glücksfall für Blaubeuren und die ganze Region“ – so formuliert es die Südwest Presse in ihrer Berichterstattung über das TLH.

Nachhaltige Materialien, Hochleistungsfasern aus Cellulose oder gar Lebensmittelproteine auf Laubholz-Basis? Das waren nur ein paar Themen, über die sich Ludwig Lehner, Andreas Bisinger und Tobias Wolfinger mit dem Aufsichtsrat des TLH beim Rundgang über den Standort in Blaubeuren ausgetauscht haben.

Nachhaltige Bioökonomie und Kreislaufwirtschaft sind die Schlüssel für eine ressourcenschonende und klimaneutrale Wirtschaft – das war der Konsens bei der Auftaktveranstaltung zur Förderperiode 2021-2027 der Europäischen Strukturfonds EFRE und ESF in Stuttgart.
