Biotechnology
The Biotechnology research area at Technikum Laubholz focuses on optimizing and scaling up biotechnological processes. We apply targeted enzymatic and microbial methods to develop tailored processes that replace petrochemical products with bio-based alternatives.
Plant Polymers
In the research field of Plant Polymers, we unlock the potential of plant-based raw materials such as wood to make cellulose, lignin, and hemicellulose usable for industrial applications.
