Technikum Laubholz is an independent, non-university research institution that was founded in 2020 on the initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The task of Technikum Laubholz with its approximately 70 employees is to accelerate the development of innovative and high-quality applications for hardwood and to occupy a leading international position for Baden-Württemberg in the use of hardwood-based raw materials.

YOUR TASKS
- Assisting with the setup of our solvent pilot plant and coordinating related tasks
- Setting up, adjusting, operating, and monitoring equipment and systems in our future chemical pilot plant and laboratory
- Providing necessary materials
- Practical implementation of test plans in accordance with applicable guidelines and requirements
- Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Analyzing and resolving malfunctions
- Entering and correcting the relevant test parameters
- Conducting and documenting initial quality tests
- Actively contributing to the design of test plans in accordance with applicable guidelines and requirements
- Communicating with the project team
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- Training as a chemical technician, plant operator, machine operator, mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, or a comparable program
- At least 3 years of professional experience in industry and in operating complex systems, ideally in a technical center, test facilities, or pilot plants
- Strong technical understanding and enthusiasm for technical topics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Additional qualifications (e.g., forklift license, crane operator’s license) are a plus
- Good command of German; knowledge of English is a plus
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Willingness to travel occasionally to external partners and supplierstage
