Technikum Laubholz is an independent, non-university research institution that was founded in 2020 on the initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The task of Technikum Laubholz with its approximately 65 employees is to accelerate the development of innovative and high-quality applications for hardwood and to occupy a leading international position for Baden-Württemberg in the use of hardwood-based raw materials.

YOUR TASKS
- Technology research and material development based on wood-based raw materials
- Benchmarking of innovative wood-based materials based on the products developed at the Technikum Laubholz
- Planning, preparation and support of production and application trials, if necessary at customer sites
- Collaboration within an interdisciplinary and intercultural project team consisting of internal and external project staff
- Interface with external service providers, project partners, universities, institutes, and project companies as well as internal specialist departments
- Optimization of internal processes and interfaces
- Supporting the planning, procurement and operation of laboratory and pilot systems and prototypes
- Reporting to the next line manager and to the project manager
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- University degree in the field of materials science, engineering or chemistry
- At least five years of professional experience in application development / R&D
- Very good knowledge of sustainable technologies, materials, their fields of application, circular economy, and related topics
- Practical orientation
- Experience in project & risk management
- Very good knowledge of German and English
