Technikum Laubholz is an independent, non-university research institution that was founded in 2020 on the initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The task of Technikum Laubholz with its approximately 70 employees is to accelerate the development of innovative and high-quality applications for hardwood and to occupy a leading international position for Baden-Württemberg in the use of hardwood-based raw materials.

YOUR TASKS

• Preparation, implementation and follow-up of chemical wood digestions and other biomasses
• Support in the development and optimization of method developments
• Implementation of measurements according to laboratory standards
• Careful evaluation and documentation of work and measurement results
• Responsibility for laboratory equipment: Maintenance, calibrations, equipment documentation
• Acceptance of responsibilities in laboratory management
• Collaboration in the cross-departmental project team
• Participation in further and advanced training courses

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• Completed training as a chemical technical assistant or a degree in chemistry / materials science (B. Sc) or comparable laboratory training
• Practical professional experience in a chemical laboratory
• Experience in carrying out chemical processes in the field of organic chemistry
• Experience in the field of instrumental analysis
• Ideally knowledge in the field of wood chemistry
• Experience and qualifications as a laboratory/team leader or as a deputy desirable
• Qualifications in quality management an advantage
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
• Good knowledge of German, knowledge of English an advantage
• Willingness to relocate with the laboratory to Göppingen from Q2/Q3 2026
