Technikum Laubholz is an independent, non-university research institution that was founded in 2020 on the initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The task of Technikum Laubholz with its approximately 70 employees is to accelerate the development of innovative and high-quality applications for hardwood and to occupy a leading international position for Baden-Württemberg in the use of hardwood-based raw materials.

YOUR TASKS
- Collaboration in an S1/S2 research laboratory with a focus on biotechnology
- Carrying out enzymatic, microbial and molecular biological work
- Working on production facilities on a laboratory scale
- Carrying out process-related (instrumental) analysis
- Preparation, execution and follow-up of experiments
- Documentation and evaluation of experimental data in accordance with quality standards
- Collaboration in the preparation of equipment manuals, work instructions and test instructions
- Commissioning, maintenance and qualification of equipment
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams
- Collaboration in the continuous improvement of existing processes
- Participation in internal and external training and further education
- Handling chemicals and hazardous substances
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
- Completed vocational training as a biological technical assistant, biology laboratory assistant, bachelor’s degree in biotechnology/biology or comparable
- Professional experience in the laboratory in the working environment of an S1 or S2 laboratory as well as experience in handling common laboratory equipment in a biotechnological research laboratory
- Ideally knowledge in the fields of microbiology, protein biochemistry and molecular biology
- Experience in the field of instrumental analysis
- Experience in handling microorganisms and sterile working techniques
- Careful documentation of work
- Confident handling of MS Office
- At least basic knowledge of English, good knowledge of German
