Technikum Laubholz is an independent, non-university research institution that was founded in 2020 on the initiative of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The task of Technikum Laubholz with its approximately 70 employees is to accelerate the development of innovative and high-quality applications for hardwood and to occupy a leading international position for Baden-Württemberg in the use of hardwood-based raw materials.

YOUR TASKS

• Preparation of samples for analysis
• Carrying out measurements with modern analysis systems
• Sampling and measurement during the ongoing production process
• Conscientious and scientific documentation of all work steps and results
• Operation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
• Assistance with the procurement of equipment, materials, and chemicals
• Method development, optimization, and validation of test procedures
• Development of new and optimization of existing analysis methods
• Transfer of analysis methods into quality control routines
• Support and implementation/collaboration in the implementation of trials on a technical scale
• Short-term support for pilot production in shift operation
• Literature research
• Preparation of test reports

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• Training as a laboratory assistant, chemical technical assistant, technician, completed degree in chemistry (B.Sc.) or comparable laboratory training
• Practical experience in the field of instrumental analytical chemistry and materials testing
• Experience in handling chemicals and hazardous substances
• Experience with common analytical methods (rheology, DSC, HPLC, GC, GPC, IR, UV, NMR, mechanical testing of test specimens, etc.)
• Experience in the analysis of (bio)polymers is desirable
• Ideally, experience with online and inline measurement techniques
• Good IT skills, especially MS Office
• Good German skills, English skills are desirable
