YOUR TASKS

  • Participation in campaign operations and day-to-day business within the “Biotechnological Conversion” department
  • Work in the biological laboratory (S1) and clean room
  • Preparation, execution and follow-up of experiments
  • Operation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment (bioreactors, centrifuges, analytical instruments, etc.)
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties, shift work and weekend duties
  • Recording and maintenance of production-related data
  • Assistance in documentation for biotechnological production (creation of equipment manuals, description of workflows, process descriptions)
  • Co-operation with other departments and specialists
  • Ordering materials
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes
  • Participation in further and advanced training
  • Reporting to the team leader and the project leader
  • Working environment conditions:
    – Handling chemicals and hazardous substances
    – Handling S1 organisms
    – Working in the laboratory
    – Working in a clean room
    – USP/MSP/DSP

 

WHAT WE EXPECT

  • Completed training as a biological technical assistant or completed studies in the field of biotechnology or similar
  • Experience in handling bioreactors and process control
  • Experience in the laboratory
  • Experience of working in a clean room advantageous
  • Experience with sterile working techniques
  • Careful documentation of work
  • IT skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to work flexibly in a team
  • Reliable and responsible way of working
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Hands-on mentality and assertiveness
