  • Collaboration in the day-to-day business within the “Biotechnological Conversion” department
  • Work in the laboratory (microbiological, molecular biological and enzymatic) and possibly in the clean room
  • Preparation, execution and follow-up of experiments
  • Recording and maintaining experimental data
  • Operating, maintaining and cleaning equipment
  • Contributing to the documentation of the bio laboratory (compiling equipment manuals, describing work procedures, process descriptions)
  • Co-operation with other departments and the specialists in biotechnological conversion
  • Ordering materials
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes
  • Participation in further and advanced training
  • Reporting to the team leader and the project leader
  • Working environment conditions:
    – Handling chemicals and hazardous substances
    – Handling S1 organisms



  • Completed training as a biological technical assistant, bio-lab technician, bachelor in biotechnology/biology or comparable
  • Experience in a biological laboratory
  • Experience with sterile working techniques
  • Careful documentation of work
  • IT skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to work flexibly in a team
  • Reliable and responsible way of working
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Hands-on mentality and assertiveness
  • Supportive working style, teamwork
  • Reliability, openness and flexibility
  • Communication even of complex issues
  • Very good time management and self-organisation
