Technikum Laubholz is an independent, non-university research institution founded in the spring of 2020 on the initiative of Baden-Württemberg. The task of the TLH, with its around 65 employees, is to accelerate the development of innovative and high-quality applications for hardwood and to occupy a leading international position for Baden-Württemberg in the use of hardwood-based raw materials.

YOUR TASKS
- Management of the Wood Pulping Department
- Managing and developing employees and further expanding the team
- Development and identification of new project and technology approaches in the specialised field on a global level
- Responsibility for the realisation of projects on schedule
- Implementing and continuously improving processes
- Optimisation and management of processes and interfaces
- Responsibility for compliance with legal regulations in the department
- Supporting the project managers with administrative tasks
- Budget responsibility for the department
- Networking and network maintenance in the specialised field at national and international level
- Reports to the Scientific Managing Director
WHAT WE EXPECT
- Completed scientific university studies in areas of chemistry, pulp technology, process engineering or wood technology
- At least 5 years of industrial work experience in the sepcific field, ideally in an industrial environment, with realisation of product and/or process development projects
- Several years of experience in managing employees
- Sound knowledge of project management, process management, innovation management
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Good networking skills
- Confident handling of MS-Office
- Hands-on mentality
