  • Formation of mathematical models and algorithms
  • Parameter identification on the basis of available data
  • Modelling and simulation of physical and process engineering components and processes
  • Automated calculation and transfer of data to internal interfaces
  • Processing and analysis of data from the areas of development and production
  • Optimisation of model simulation according to practical experience
  • Interface to the areas of automation technology and programming of AI/AI



  • Master or Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), Computational Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent qualification
  • Sound mathematical knowledge (numerical and applied linear algebra, initial and boundary value problems, Fourier analysis, optimisation).
  • Experience with algorithms for solving discrete and continuous problems
  • Experience in the application of mathematical modelling and simulation and the corresponding programming languages
  • Experience with data science, AI/AI
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Hands-on mentality and assertiveness
